The second stop of IEM Season 10 this year is at gamescom, hosted in Cologne, Germany on August 5th to August 9th, 2015. This will be the fifth time that an Intel Extreme Masters stop takes place at gamescom.
Eight teams from all over the world were invited to play in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gamescom Invitational, where the winner will take home a lion’s share of the US$90,000 prize pool. With a tournament format unlike anything IEM has ever seen, attendees are able to influence the state of the tournament. Be sure not to miss this one-of-a-kind CS:GO tournament which you yourself can assist or thwart the efforts of the contestants! During the gamescom week, the ESL Studio in Cologne will play host to the second StarCraft II competition in the IEM series this season. The world’s best StarCraft II players will take to the stage to compete in a US$25,000 competition, of which the finals will play out at the IEM gamescom stage.
